Resistant heating

The resistance heating is based on the principle of the current-carrying electrical resistance. It generates thermal energy and releases it through heat radiation and conduction to the workpiece which needs to be heated. The particular advantage of resistance heating is that the respective workpiece can be fitted with a plurality of independently operating controllers. The temperature tolerances of workpieces with asymmetrical design and unequal wall thicknesses can thus be kept within narrow limits, as the heat energy can localy be controlled at any time and be matched to the actual heat demand.
