Wärmebehandlung - Induktiv

The inductive heating is based on the principle of a transformer. If you apply an AC voltage to the primary winding of a transformer, so a voltage is induced in the secondary winding by the pulsating magnetic field. This voltage is able to provide connected consumers with power.

By the inductive heating of welding seams the inductor is the primary winding, while the heat section is a short-circuited secondary winding. The voltage which is induced in the work piece generates an electrical current in the layer close to the surface. This current heats the work piece. The working frequency is between 2 kHz and 10 kHz.
